The small business start-up joint venture formed in partnership with Moberly Area Economic Development, Moberly Area Community College’s Small Business and Technology Development Center and the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce, today launched their new website: www.growmidmo.com. The new website allows those interested in starting or expanding a small business to access resources at their convenience.

The new partnership was fashioned to better enable entrepreneurs to access all the resources needed in starting a new business. “We are very excited about this new opportunity,” said Debbie Dean-Miller, Executive Director of the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce. “This new platform will allow those wanting to start a new business in Mid-Missouri to access resources like never before.”

Individuals either with an idea for a new a small business or currently operating a business looking to grow can have access 24-hours a day to the tools to support their efforts online at a new all-inclusive web site that launched today.

“This is more than just a web site,” said Dan Lobina, Director of the Small Business and Technology Development Center. “Small business owners will have access to counselors and coaches who are there to assist them whenever they need support.”

The partnership that formed several months ago has been busy developing the needed support network to assist those with a business idea. “The key is growing our own local businesses” stated David Gaines of Moberly Area Economic Development. “The success of a local start-up business has so much benefit to the community. You don’t have to look very far in the community to find successful businesses that have been contributing to the entire region for decades.”

With the launch of the website www.growmidmo.com it is the first in a series of events designed to introduce entrepreneurs to a network of support that can improve their chances of succeeding. The next event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13th at 5:30pm at WC’s Bar and Grill located in the Best Western Inn in Moberly. The event is a launch party to officially kickoff the Grow Mid-Missouri program.
