Our labor force is so good that when universities come and study us, they use Missouri to calibrate their instruments. Check out this study: According to Ball State’s 2009 Manufacturing Logistics Report Card, Missouri has been ranked the best State for manufacturing.

Ok, lets talk about being 7th from the bottom. We prefer to call it “one of the best values of labor in the US”. If the MAEDC Region were a state we would rank 7 from the bottom in terms of household income. Making us one of the least expensive labor pools in the US.

Not satisfied with being the best. We have 2 local colleges, helping to make us even better than we already are. Training our young people and industrious older students in skills that help your business be as good as we are — the best. Our local colleges work with industry to tailor make training programs specific for their industry.

 

State funded training courses organized by our local community college are taught by your staff or hired experts.
We have a highly trained workforce. Our local colleges work directly with local industry.
