MAEDC announces the addition of J.B. Waggoner as its new board member from Howard County. J.B. is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Inovatia Laboratories in Fayette. Now in its 24th year, the firm provides testing, consulting, and research services to public, private, and government entities throughout the United States.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to join the MAEDC Board as a representative of the Howard County Economic Development Council’s (HCEDC) member organizations.” Said J.B Waggoner, “As a business owner/entrepreneur and volunteer civil servant, I have had the pleasure of interacting with MAEDC on a number of levels over the years. I look forward to helping the Howard County organization take full advantage of the services made available through their investment in the MAEDC and I hope to be able to assist in advancing economic development efforts throughout the entire MAEDC region.”
Corey Mehaffy, President of MAEDC, extended his thanks and appreciation to outgoing member Kirk Biere. “Kirk has been an asset to this organization and Board since the beginning of our relationship with Howard County. He is an example to all with his dedication and commitment. We will miss his input at board meetings and sincerely thank him for his service. On behalf of the staff and Board of Directors I also want to thank J.B. for volunteering to serve, and look forward to him being part of our Board.
